(2) Debate 纠结；犹豫
I'm still debating whether I should enroll in classes or take the semester off.
我还在纠结这学期该去上课还是先休学一学期。
I'm still debating whether or not I should go to the party.
我还在纠结是否要去参加聚会。
这里再为大家补充一个语法知识点，小时候我们学的，if不能加or not，其实母语者在使用时，只是if不与or not连着用，or not放在句尾是可以的，如：
But I hate talking to you in that Cloak, I never know if I'm looking at you or not.
但是我讨厌在那件斗篷里和你交谈，我永远不知道我是不是在看着你。

所以，以上两句话中的whether也可以改为if：
